Sachin Tendulkar Unfolding his Cricket Thoughts |
Sachin Tendulkar feels cricket has changed a lot in recent times with fitness becoming an integral part of the game. “The youngsters in the team were enjoying their game and it was good to see them in a positive frame of mind,” Tendulkar said.
Asked about the happiest moment in his cricket career, he said “I cherish the wins against Australia, England and South Africa on their home turf as it was my dream to taste success in away games.” Former captain Rahul Dravid said the Twenty20 format was still evolving but stressed the basics were the same in all forms of cricket. Fielding should be superlative and teams were “playing positive aggressive cricket,” he said, referring to the shortest version of the game.
The former captain said that in his formative years he was told not to play the ball in the air and score runs through grounded shots. |
